I'm in a unique position. My family has been in Santa Paula for generations and I grew up here, but I have also lived for long periods in other places across the country. I have been in education for years, but also have a strong background in business and technology. I have raised my own family through the ups and downs of life, and so I understand what families are going through.
I have an excellent understanding of what our students need to face our changing economy. Whether they go on to college or go straight into the workforce, they will need to be prepared for a world that values skilled workers more than ever. I will work to ensure that our students are gaining those skills from preschool until the day they graduate from high school.
